This week, Ave Explores: Catholicism Around the World examines the Church in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. From rural communities to booming urban centers and from suburbs to small towns, the Church across North and Central America shares a love of service and a desire to share the truth of the Church’s teachings.
Fr. Michael DeLaney, C.S.C, rector of St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal, and University of Notre Dame boxer Meghan Guilfoile talk about their experience with the Holy Cross Mission Center and how their work has helped them grow in faith and appreciate the gift of other cultures.
Fr. Harrison Ayre, a priest of the Diocese of Victoria in Canada, shares the key differences he’s observed between the American and Canadian Church and explains how the missionary spirit of Canadian Catholics is an anchor for worship, evangelization, and community life.
